When I first bought my first Hue light, I figured I might end up get another one (maybe two). Fast forward a few years (and several dozen smart lights, switches, plugs, sensors, voice controls, and hubs) and it seems I underestimated how passionate I would get about living conveniently.
A systems efficiency engineer by trade, my goal is to bring my hard-won experience to anyone interested in enjoying all the benefits of living in the future that are available to us today. At the same time, privacy is a growing concern for us all and I make every effort to keep things secure and local. That’s why unless you want remote access to your home, my recommendations will always have the option to be accessible only to you and only from inside your home. I prefer to keep your home private from the outside world. Google and Amazon know enough, don’t you think?
